Description:
TC is white crystalline with low toxicity. It is an insecticide which is highly seiective against plant sucking insects. It can control peach-potato, currant/lettuce and potato aphid on outdoor crops of lettuce, leafy herbs and baby leaf brassicas. It penetrates green leaves and is transported systemically within the plant. Growers are advised that pymetrozine quickly prevents aphid feeding and although there is no immediate knockdown effect, aphids do not feed again.Widely used for control of aphids and whitefly in vegetables, potatoes, ornamentals, cotton, deciduous and citrus fruit, tobacco, hops; both juvenile and
adult stages are susceptible. Also for control of plant hoppers in rice.
